Proximus API · planned
the simulation, as an API.
Flood, walk and sun scores for any location, so a portal, a developer or a planner can show what a pin on a map can't. We're designing it now and talking to the first teams.
What it would answer
three questions, one call.
- What can I reach? Walking reach on real streets, slowed by weather.
- What happens in a monsoon? Where water collects, from ground heights and mapped drains.
- How does the light fall? Direct sun for a floor across the year.
// Illustrative only. The API is planned and this shape may change. GET /v1/place/score?lat=28.4547&lon=77.0820&floor=1 { "walk": { "minutes_10": "12 essentials within reach" }, "flood": { "risk": "moderate", "note": "low lane to the south collects water" }, "sun": { "winter_direct_hours": 3.2 } }

Questions
about the api.
What will the Proximus API return?
Scores for a location: what is within a ten-minute walk, where water is likely to collect in a monsoon, and how many hours of direct sun a floor gets.
Is the API available?
No. It's planned and being designed with the first few teams. Join the early list on this page.
Which locations will it cover?
Delhi NCR first. Other cities follow once their data has been checked.
