Legal
terms.
The ground rules for using proximate.app.
Last updated 4 November 2026
These terms apply to proximate.app, run by PsyTech ("we"). By using the site or creating an account, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.
Who can use it
You must be 18 or older. If you use the site for a business, you confirm you can bind it to these terms.
What this site is
It describes products we're building: Proximate Broker, the Proximate app and the Proximus API. Features shown are in development unless stated, may change, and may not be available to you yet. Joining the waitlist doesn't guarantee access.
Simulations are a guide, not advice
Proximate models sun, weather, flooding and walking reach using open data. Building heights are estimated and flood areas are modelled. Neither has been checked against a survey. The output is not an engineering, flood-risk, legal, real-estate or financial opinion. Don't rely on it alone for a decision about a property, your safety or your money. Check with a qualified professional.
Scores, listings, places and events on this site are examples or sample data, not real listings.
Your account
- Give accurate details and keep your password safe. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
- You can delete your account at any time from the account page.
- We may suspend or remove accounts that break these terms or put the service or other people at risk.
Using the site properly
Don't try to break, probe or overload the site, get around its limits, scrape it at scale, or access data that isn't yours. If you find a security problem, please tell us through the contact form and give us a reasonable chance to fix it before you share it.
Ownership
The Proximate name, logo, design and site content belong to PsyTech. Map and weather data come from third parties such as OpenStreetMap, Overture Maps, Google Open Buildings and Open-Meteo, and keep their own licences.
No warranty and limits on liability
The site and anything on it are provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss from relying on a simulation, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the previous 12 months, which for a free service is nil. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit.
Changes
We may update these terms and will post the new date here. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India that have jurisdiction will hear any dispute.
